It takes me 4 hours out of my day (I live in Brookfield) to have a snow tire charge over at Star Tire. (an hour drive each way and 2 hours waiting around to have my tires changed) I cold easily go to BJs or Costco which are minutes away. I chose Star because they're a Jewish-Owned business (I'm Jewish) and they offered free tire change-over, BALANCING and $50 per season tire storage. I bought Blizzak Snow Tires two "snow-seasons" ago. I've the tires an dI believe that they are the best, performance and noise-wise. See the review by Ra Ra which tells a similar story. I am now ASHAMED that this is a "Jewish-owned" business. It gives us a bad name. BUT they now (and last time) want to charge me about $65 for balancing even though initially, when I bought my tires, they said it was free. I am NOT mistaken. They claim that "even their family" pays for balancing". (What???!!! They charge their family !!!???) When it comes to replacing my snow tires, I'll go to BJs or Costco. Note, most of their reviews are VERY GOOD but several refer to the "so-called 'Nasty' owner", Andy. I met him when I had my dispute over balancing and he did off THIS and ONLY this balancing for free, but "from now on" I would have to pay for it. That was NOT the deal that was made when the tires were sold to me. My point here is that "The Customer is always right". It's far too costly to have a disappointed, much less angry customer, then to do the right thing. Make the customer satisfied, whatever it takes. this is sometimes called the "Nordstrom philosophy", after the department store known for the absolute best customer service. After reading The "owner" response, I change my rating from 4 to 1 star. I did not request anything free "Because I am Jewish". I chose Star over Town Fair Tire because Star is Jewish-owned and I believe in working with "the Tribe" as a preference when possible. I expected Free Balancing because that is what I was told, as I stated in my review", when I purchased the snow tires 2 years ago. After seeing the response from the "Owner", I believe that both parties would have a more pleasant life if I took my business elsewhere. Which I will do immediately. As I said, "what goers around, comes around. I will avoid STAR TIRE and take my business to a facility tat understands "Customer Service" and integrity: Costco and BJ's, both less that 10 minutes from my place. The "owners" response refers to "Colorado". I don't know what point they are trying to make or refer to.

Ever since I bought my first car, star tires was my go to! Everyone treated me fair, looked out for me and taught me so much. Nilda always made sure I was keeping up the maintenance when I would go in for something and Larry always informed me on different parts of the car and things I was getting done. I went this past weekend for an oil change and it was my last visit. I didn’t get any smiles or good customer service at all. I waited about 10 mins in line, I was finally taken by a man with glasses i think he said his name is Steve, he sat on the side, but he kept talking over me. I was trying to explain the credit I had because on my last visit, i was approved by one of the financing companies you guys have but he completely shut me down and told me I was wrong. He didn’t look up my account and ginger pitched in to tell me I couldn’t apply my credit and that I was wrong, again never looked up my account. They told me the total price of an oil change and sent me on my way. Not one smile, not one of them listened, they both just sent me on my way. I had other things to do and I didn’t want things to go bad so I left but I went back later on in the day. This time I called first, and I explained to the man about the credit I had with STAR TIRE. He finally looked up my account and seen what I was talking about. I went in for my oil change, and he bad mouthed Nilda to me. I don’t know what work relationship they had but as a customer who has constantly came back because of Nilda’s customer service I found it so unprofessional and inaccurate of how he spoke about her, and it was weird he said that to me, a customer. Just off of one visit, that turned into two because the new customer service is horrible, I was able to see the difference Nilda and Larry made. I will not be coming back!! Not only did he try to be right and not listen to the customer, he showed how unprofessional he was speaking to me, about something I never asked about and of all things, a former employee who always looked out for me. Again, never coming back! Advise your staff to be careful of who and what they speak about, especially around your customers!! Worry more about listening to the customers and their needs, not about work relationships we have nothing to do with but knowing that our favorite employees are no longer there. —note I always needed other work done but decided to go somewhere else for it to not deal have to with that man.

STAR TIRES is topnotch! HONEST AND THOROUGH! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I went to Town Fair Tires a few months ago because I had a slow leak in my rear passenger tire. An hour and a half later, they told me I needed a brand new tire, that the tire was completely shot, I must have driven on it, when I knew I didn't. They said we recommend you replace all 4. I left there and went to Star. My tire was repaired, they said it was not shot at all, just needed to be patched. They rotated all my tires and I was in and out and under an hour. Highly recommend Star Tires! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I just found out this shop is really good. They can do everything other shops can't. If you're thinking about aftermarket wheels, this is the shop that comes to mind.
