Importance of trusted mechanic. Brought my car to a dealer for oil change and they said I needed $800 of work belts and loose suspension. I thought that seemed excessive so took it here for a second opinion and they didn't find anything needing replacement. Said dealer was looking to up charge would recommend this mechanic. My family has bought multiple cars from here and brought them here for maintenance. Great place to go.

We purchased a used Subaru Forester at Green River Auto and I cannot say enough about their honesty and fair dealing. It is a wonderful local business with high ethical standards. You will not find a more trustworthy place to buy a used car in the Pioneer Valley. No extra charges. Everything is upfront. Really enjoyed working with both Scott and Rich. Low-key, relaxed, genuinely friendly. They are real people, happy with their jobs and rightly proud of the business they created.

Purchased a vehicle from Green River Auto and the experience was great. Scott was helpful and pleasant, made the purchasing and paperwork super easy. Out of the gate, I had an issue with the vehicle and asked Green River to look at it. Rich, the Owner, spent the time to diagnose and solve the issue. It was minor and not in the scope of the warranty but Rich took care of it. Paul, the lead mechanic is thoughtful and pleasant. Gave me honest opinions on a few makes and models I was considering and assisted with research on some after market additions to the vehicle. The team at Green River Auto is small, they care about their work, and are genuinely kind and thoughtful people. It's great to find a local mechanic that I trust!
