Though my sales woman seemed like a nice enough lady (won't mention any names), the customer care and service can stand to improve vastly, from the floor manager on down... When one purchases a new vehicle and spends tens of thousands on a single day purchase, there are minimal expectations, to say the least. I did not receive the standard of customer care, from the moment I entered; from not so much as even being offered a water, or shown where the restrooms are-- on over to (and most importantly) not having details of my vehicle explained. Or even being told and assured by the finance man that I'd be driving my new purchase off the lot with a "full tank of gas"(it was half full). I have never driven a new purchase car off the lot in my life with under a full tank, it's customary. This is at least the 10th car I've purchased. My biggest take away: as my sales person helped multiple people at once, leaving me sitting at their desk to wait, I watched her colleague (who kindly gave me a free logo hat when I walked in) take his time with his customer, one on one-- the manager walked over to his desk and actually sat down behind his computer to talk thoroughly with the white couple who he (the Caribbean salesman) was assisting. I never received that kind of customer service for my purchase. That really stuck out to me. Ironically, it was me, the Black man who bought and left with a 20+ thousand dollar purchase, not the white couple. Hopefully something is learned from my transparent account of my experience. And I wish them all well!...especially the young lady salesperson.

I had a great experience with my recent vehicle purchase. Karen was amazing and the process was smooth. Vehicle was amazing in person. Photos and video didn’t do it justice! I love my new car, she’s a beauty. I will recommend them to anyone i know

Really enjoyed working with Michael M. to buy my Subaru! He took every step to make sure I was confident in my purchase, including driving the car round the lot to make sure the steering responsive headlights worked. Plus, he was a ton of fun to chat with. The car was exactly as shown on the website, and the process was easy and I felt like both Michael & the management we worked with were very transparent and no BS about the process.

I just purchased the first new car I've owned in 11 years. This is thanks to Dakota R. from Southern States Pre-Owned. I had initially started contacting the dealership online and came for a test drive. I was directed to the pre-owned lot where a 2022 model was for testing. I came upon Dakota in the office, unaware of my appointment, and we started talking. She researched into the matter, made me aware of the existing inventory, and got into the car with my wife and I for a test drive. She directed us around town and even on I-440 to ensure the vehicle was what I liked. When I told her I wanted a new one, we went over to the Subaru building and she was able to locate a new car, in my preferred color and trim, at another dealership in Wilmington. She (with management's assistance) arranged for the new car to be transferred to Southern States. She remained in contact with me for the next week, ensuring I had all the right documents and that the vehicle would be ready on time. I just picked it up this evening. It's perfect. I highly recommend stopping by and seeing her if you're in the market for a vehicle.

Dakota Romano was a fabulous sales woman. She listened to what I wanted. Didn't play the typical sales games, and she didn't make me feel pressured. I highly recommend her! I love my Tucson.
