Loni is hands down the best mechanic I've had the pleasure of working with. We've been relocated nationally 10+ times over the last 20 years and visited many shops, big and small. During our last move to Naperville, I visited a well known automotive shop who unfortunately gave me the run around for 8 weeks. What should have been a new brake pad/rotor installation and alignment ended up turning into months of non-stop screeching, excuse after excuse, and eventually both rear camber bolts seizing (with one completely snapping off), which made my car unsafe to drive. I posted a photo of the bolt on social media, requesting any suggestions for reputable mechanics in the area. Multiple replies emphasized Loni's skill, knowledge, and expertise. I contacted Loni, who freely gave his time over the phone, and set up an appointment for the following day. Once the car was lifted, he again provided ample time to go over work the other company had performed, repairs that would need to be done, and an approximate time frame and dollar amount. He was patient, intelligent, and accommodating. Loni not only fixed all the previous work that was done incompetently, he came in under budget and my vehicle was ready a few days earlier then expected. I appreciated his straight shooting demeanor and 35+ years of master certified knowledge. There was no ambiguity regarding his expertise, he 110% knows what he's talking about and stands behind his work, guaranteed. Loni (mechanic), Kathy (office manager), and Maury (owner) are a rare gem in the automotive shop industry. For as long as we're in IL, I will continue bringing my business to Automotivation.

Driving far from home alone, my car broke down on the highway. I was so lucky to come across these amazing people while searching for a nearby mechanic. They all went above and beyond for me repairing my vehicle while I was stranded far from home. They made sure my vehicle was safe & did multiple test drives to double check it was cleared considering my distance. They do amazing work & don’t cut any corners. A previous mechanic was wanting to do a band aid fix that was not fixing my issue at all the following week & they corrected the real issues & educated me all while showing me all the parts that needed fixing. My car is safe & everyone at this shop was my blessing during that stressful moment being far from home. They take pride in their work & it shows & I am extremely grateful. I will recommend this shop to anyone in the area because they are a gem in a world filled with mechanics that don’t truly care. Ps the shop dog is the cutest thing in the world so make sure you say hi to him while in! Thank you all so much!

Great place!! Picked up the phone quickly, they were busy, but able to squeeze me in to look at a screw in my tire and find the hidden problem deeper, a sensor battery issue quickly. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to get the fix done then and there and am from out of town, but the owner/mechanic was knowledgeable and willing to share information about what I should expect from this repair when I go to another shop. Can’t recommend enough. Just good people 😃

Once again, Loni and the crew at Automotivation came to the rescue! My MAJOR cooling system problem needed an inventive procedure, which took much more effort than the original diagnosis. I was only charged for the original labor estimate, saving me big bucks. I'm back on the road, and couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and true COMPASSION that is the hallmark of this establishment.
