I had the best experience with Pleasant Car Care! My son damaged the wheel on our car and AAA towed it to them. They replaced the tire and found two filters were dirty so replaced them too. I had great conversations with Eddie and Nick. They even found an overcharge and sent me a check! I highly recommend Pleasant Car Care.

I cannot tell you how amazing it was to have an issue on a Sunday at 9 AM and be able to go somewhere, have them look at the car, and resolve the issue in under half an hour. Obviously that probably wouldn’t be the case every day of the week, but I am so fortunate that it was the case today. They totally saved my day and my week and they were so kind and caring. The waiting area was nice and neat. The bathroom was clean. They had coffee and tea and snacks! It was truly pleasant. I highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience at Pleasant Car Care Newton. The whole team was welcoming, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I really appreciated how thoughtful they were in making sure everything was accurate and followed up when needed. Special thanks to Eddie and Sirius — they were kind, patient, and went above and beyond to help. I found their pricing to be a little on the higher end, but honestly, fair for the outstanding service they provide. I felt truly well taken care of and will definitely be coming back.

I would recommend Pleasant Car Care in Newton. They’re open on the weekend. They do a very thorough job and everything is up front and transparent because they take videos and send them to you so you know exactly what’s happening. I was also able to secure a really nice free loaner car which really helped my family. Thank you Pleasant Car Care. It feels much safer now and drives like a much newer car.

This place is amazing, and the service they give is simply next level. They saved me allot of time, money, and my safety. I live in Melrose, however the dealership my husband and I were looking to buy a used car from a was in Newton. My local mechanic's schedule was full so I looked for another place close to the dealership to do a Pre-purchase Inspection. Enter Pleasant Car Care in Newton. Firstly, they were incredibly flexible and able to take me the same day. When I arrived there I was warmly greeted by Gino, a service specialist who helped me throughout the day. He informed me that they were going to look over the car I was interested in buying and write a detailed report about their findings, as well as take photos and videos of any issues with the car so that I could go back to the dealership and negotiate if need be. Sadly the car I was interested in buying (that had seemed to be so impeccably maintained) did have issues. In particular one major one having to do with the engine that Gino and his eagle eyed team were able to spot because of their extensive knowledge and knowing what to look for even when the seller of a used car has done their best to cover the issue up. After returning the car to the dealership I went back to Pleasant Car Care to have Gino and the other mechanics look at my current car to see if it would be worthwhile to have it repaired. He and his team let me know that it would be allot of work to repair my current car, but more they importantly they pointed out a safety issue that was imminent and were able to take care of it while I was there, so that I could have a safe ride back to Melrose. Do yourself a favor if you're looking to buy a used car or have general repairs done and go here. These guys are the Best of the Best. They'r super friendly, knowledgable, and an added bonus is their waiting room is clean, and charming with great refreshments. A huge thanks again to Gino, Mike, and Ty for all their hard work :-)
