Fantastic selection and they take great care of the gym and equipment. Members are friendly but will leave you alone if you focus on your workout. I highly recommend this gym. It's got a lot busier recently so if you go during peak times and don't like crowds it's probably not for you.

This place boasts a welcoming yet hardworking atmosphere. It is super clean, no dust on the machines and no dust mites having a party in the corner of the gym. The owner is an absolute gentleman, super charismatic. The staff do an awesome job keeping the facility running smoothly while adding to the great atmosphere. They consistently update and add new equipment into the mix, from old school nautilus machines to new school prime fitness machines and kabuki strength bars. And the best part- fair, transparent pricing (no contracts).

I'm a resident of Ashburn that was a prior Golds Gym member before they shut down abruptly late last year. I was waiting for a new Gold's location, but in the meantime, I decided to sign up with The Shop Gym because of the variety and quality of powerlifting equipment they had available. Since Gold's shut down, there has been radio silence about a new location, and I'm almost certain it won't happen at this point. However, the transition to The Shop Gym has been incredible! The staff and lifters are super friendly and professional. The equipment is well maintained and clean, and the shake bar has some pretty decent variety as well! If you love lifting and always have trouble finding open equipment at your gym- The Shop always has tons of space and open equipment for any lift you can think of! Based on that alone, being a member is a steal!

I've been a member to this gym for the past 4 months and super impressed with my experiences. The staff are super hospitable and welcoming to my son and I. There is plenty of space in this Mecca of a gym which helps with social distancing. This gym is always clean with lots of great energy as soon as you walk in. The Peanut Butter cup is my favorite protein shake at their shake bar. When I travel, I typically check out the locally owned power-gyms and The Shop Gym in Ashburn, VA is quite possibly the best gym experience.
